Health Insurance

All full-time staff members are eligible to enroll in a health care plan offered by See Forever Foundation/Maya Angelou Schools.  The organization will contribute up to 80% of the monthly premiums.  For more information on the types of coverage offered, please visit www.carefirst.com.

Dental and Vision Insurance

All full-time staff members are eligible to enroll in a dental and vision plan for which the employee pays a modest premium.  For more information, please visit www.metlife.com.

Life Insurance

All employees are automatically enrolled into a life insurance program to which the organization contributes 100% of the premium.  Coverage levels are equal to the employee’s rate of pay, up to $50,000.

403(b) Plan

The school has established a 403(b) plan with TIAA-CREF to which employees may contribute. The school will contribute 2% of an employee’s salary once the staff member has worked for See Forever Foundation/Maya Angelou Schools for one year.  For more information, please visit www.tiaa-cref.

Computer Purchase Plan

All employees are eligible to receive assistance to purchase a computer for personal use through our Computer Purchase Plan.  Once a staff member has worked at See Forever Foundation/Maya Angelou Schools for three months, the organization will pay 1/3 of the cost of a desktop or laptop computer, up to $500.
